Census returns
Census Records are carried out of the whole UK population every ten years, but are not made a matter of public record for a 100 years under data protection legislation.
The first census was carried out in 1801, but the detailed records were not preserved until 1841. We have some totals for the Warmington and Arlescote Census 1801, 1811, 1821 and 1831. The information for the next seven surveys up to 1901, will also be uploaded in due course.
