All meetings, unless otherwise given, are in the Village Hall at 7.30pm, on the third Thursday of the month. Free for members, guests £2 per meeting. Membership is only £10 per year.

Our Legitimate Interest

Your privacy is important to us and we are committed to keeping your information secure and managing it in accordance with our legal responsibilities under applicable data protection laws.

This data is held on the basis of our legitimate interest* and is what we believe members would reasonably expect.

What personal information we collect

On joining The Warmington Heritage Group new members and existing members are asked to provide or update their contact details. We record your name, address, telephone number and email address.

How we use your Information

  • To communicate with you notices relating to events, meetings and associated activities so that we can keep you fully informed of our activities.
  • To maintain an up to date record of our membership
  • Email is our preferred method of contact with members because it is the most cost effective.
  • We do not share this information outside the organisation without the permission of the data subject.
  • We ask that members tell the WHG of any changes to their contact details so that our records remain current and the members continue to receive our newsletters.
  • When membership lapses a member’s details are removed from the current list but may be retained in a membership archive.
  • Members may ask to see what information we hold on them.
  • Members may ask to be removed from our list.
  • Members may ask to have information changed or deleted.

*What is the ‘legitimate interests’ basis?

Article 6(1)(f) gives you a lawful basis for processing where:

“processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the group
