CLERGY AND CHURCHWARDENS OF WARMINGTON
The details of clergy and churchwardens are drawn from the Warmington parish registers, records in the Lichfield diocesan record office and the Church of England clergy database. Additional information has been derived from wills and from glebe terriers. Glebe terriers were listings of the rectory land and other property handed in periodically to the bishop (more).
WARMINGTON VILLAGE CARRIERS
The occupation of village carriers as a trade appears to have emerged in the latter part of the eighteenth century. Most Warmington carriers transported goods and farm produce into Banbury market on Thursdays and Saturdays and brought back goods ordered by village residents (more).
